Ski resort Obergurgl and Hochgurgl
Top Quality Skiing - this is what the ski resort Obergurgl and Hochgurgl stands for. Uncountable slopes meet the requirements of beginners but also professionals. Beginners start with their first turns either directly in front of our house or at the beginner's slope called "Mahdstul". If you feel like moving up to intermediates, "Gaisberg" is the place to be for the next big steps. Skiers of the mentionned level but especially professionals might prove their skills at "Festkogel" on red and black slopes. Thanks to the hight and snow conditions of the ski resort it enables winter enthusiasts to ski from start of November till the end of April.
Since the winter season 1997/1998 a cable car connects those two resorts. In about nine minutes you get from the one spot to the other. Have a marvallous view above Königs- and Verwalltal (name of the valleys), to all the incomparable surrounding peaks but also down to the contemplative skiers village.
